Before joining any archery club, you must complete a beginners course.

Our September course is now full. Details of our next course will be posted here shortly.

What will the course involve?

9 hours of training split over several sessions

Training and support from qualified coaches who will teach basic safety skills including the setting up of a club bow, what to do and what not to do, scoring, and different bow styles

By the end of the course we expect you to be shooting independently under observation at 20 yards

Upon completing the course you will receive a certificate that allows you to join any archery club.

What do I need to bring/wear?

All archery equipment is provided

Please wear clothes that are close fitting on the arms and torso, tie back dangling hair, remove dangling jewellery, and do not wear open toe shoes
